Hiring is a great way of discovering if this is the right instrument for you.

I am based in Sherborne, Dorset and would encourage you to come to try my violins to check sizing etc, alternatively we can discuss another arrangement.

Sizes

Over the years I have built up a collection of violins and violas which I hire out for children.

The sizes available are:

1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4

The instruments are all well set up with good quality strings. The bows have Mongolian horse hair of excellent quality.

A shoulder rest is included

For those children who are more advanced I do have a number of quality instruments with a lovely tone.

Prices

Standard violins and violas:

£30 per term

Higher quality violins and violas:

£40 per term

Insurance £10 per year.
